Wanna look flashy but ain’t got the cash-y?
High school is a time for acne and awkward phases but now you’re graduating, and it’s off to the real world. It’s time to build a new identity and really strut your stuff for who you are, but it’s hard to rock your favorite looks on a budget. There’s a lot of pressure during high school to wear name brands to fit in or look good and if money’s tight or you’re out of work you can feel like an outcast, but outcast no more. The simple solution? Swallow your pride and hit up your local thrift store. Places like Goodwill or Savers are organizations that collect clothing donations and sanitize them to be sold at ridiculously low prices while benefiting the community as well. These shops often have slightly worn, name brand and trendy articles of clothing that were just donated because they didn’t fit or “went out of style” but with a bit of creativity and optimism you can turn thrift store finds into fashion of the future.
